Emily has been spending time increasing her reading word bank. We found some sticky notes at Target that show sight words, such as "the" and "have." We posted these inside her wardrobe so she can work on them whenever she wants. She really enjoys reading words and has made great progress.
Andrew is working hard on pottytraining. He has picked up on how Emily gets out of bed "one last time" to go to the bathroom so has started asking also. We think he just likes getting out of bed; whatever the case, he gets the job done and has managed to stay dry almost every night these past two weeks. We are still struggling with daytime potty training, though. Today I put some of Emily's old princess pull-ups in his drawer. He took one look and said, "Um, I am not going to wear these." Hmm...I am hoping the girly pull-ups will inspire him to train during the day!

Kudos to you Julie! Great idea. Perhaps someday I could post a guest blog (if I can get over my technologically challenged self and figure it out).
Haha, I really laughed about the girly pull-ups! I'm so excited that I get to hear about Em and Andrew's exploits!
